Spring Mills Primary School

Last summer, Panhandle was awarded the bid to do the site work for West Virginia's first LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, school.  The school should be completed by August of 2011.  West Virginia's first "green school" is expected to house 550 students who will be able to grow a garden and vegetables between two wings.  The design is intended to help educate the children about the practices that make their school different, leading to better practices in our community.
